Class Rooms

VCP has spacious, ventilated, well furnished, modernized and IT enabled classrooms which create a healthy atmosphere for the students and are well lit and echo-proof to facilitate the teaching-learning process. Classrooms are designed for conventional lectures and group discussions. These facilities create an ideal atmosphere well suited for teaching-learning pedagogy.

Laboratories

In addition to state-of-the-art machinery, the Vaageswari College of Pharmacy labs have sufficient glassware and tools to give students practical training to help them succeed in their profession. Our Institution is having sufficient numbers of labs for providing B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, Pharm. D, and Pharm. D (PB) training in all practical needs of pharmacy.

The VCP Library, located on the second floor of Block B, supports teaching, learning, and research with "Anytime, Anywhere Access" to information. It offers a quiet environment with comfortable furniture and modern amenities. The library is computerized with "New Genlib" software and Barcode Technology for efficient transactions. It houses over 2899 titles, 13354 volumes, 48 print journals, and provides access to e-journals, databases like NDL and Micromedex, newspapers, magazines, and rare books.

Medicinal plants have played an important role in human healthcare as the essential ingredients of traditional medicines for thousands of years. Botanical gardens worldwide play a crucial role in the conservation, cultivation and utilization of plant species, and research activities related to ecology, taxonomy, systematic, biotechnology, etc.

Auditorium

Our college Auditorium is with centralized air condition system which is equipped with Public address system, Digital Projector, Digital Audio Visual systems etc, which can accommodate 500 seating capacity. Our auditorium ensures acoustics resonate all around the room with strength and clarity so our students can hear well from anywhere. It has to be equally important for the students on every seat to hear and enjoy the performance.

Canteen

The college canteen features vast facilities. The students and employees of the college are provided with the hygiene and quality South and North Indian food as well as confectionaries. There is a spacious kitchen in the campus canteen, and culinary employees take particular care to serve nutritious and delicious cuisine for students and staff. Reverse osmosis purified water is used to prepare food items and drinking purpose..

Transportation

A complete and self-contained Transportation department is established in our college with buses to facilitate travel for students and employees from diverse locations. This service is available to provide an effortless and secure travel. Students can travel between various corners of the city thanks to the presence of 19 buses provided by the society. According to the needs of students, there will be an increase in the number of buses.

In conformity with Supreme Court judgments and directions, UGC guidelines and State Government Instructions, Vaageswari College of Pharmacy is following ‘Zero-Tolerance policy’ towards ragging. Any student of Vaageswari College of Pharmacy accused and found guilty of ragging, will be severely dealt with, in accordance with the Provisions of the Law. An Anti-Ragging toll free "helpline" 1800-180-5522 in 12 languages has been made operational by the UGC with Call Centre facilities for helping victims of ragging, besides facilitating effective coordinated action by all concerned. The complaints can also be filed through email at helpline@antiragging.in .
